an approximate metric fuckton of screenshots, if you want them
I am waiting on things and waiting is frustrating.

And because I've been meaning to do it for a while, I zipped up a bunch of the screenshots I've snagged from various and sundry series and movies and uploaded them to MediaFire. They're all pretty decent quality and size, some from DVDs, and are good for making icons or colorbars or. Uhh, I don't know, whatever.

In the last few months I've gotten to where I can time things right to get things without the subtitles, so for the most part, these are subtitle-free. There are the things, however, where I was just grabbing a shot for my own reference. I was bad for this on Mononoke in particular. Also, sometimes it's impossible to miss the burned subtitles.


This will probably be updated with more as I do more; these are just the ones where I have more than 100-count. In the process of screenshotting Peacemaker, about halfway through Fight Club, and will probably get around to doing most of my DVDs eventually. It takes time, see. XD;

Comments appreciated if you're taking any of them, but other than that, I don't care about any sort of credit. Feel free, but I'm not enough of a bitch to get snitty about it, because it's a dumb thing to expect, with something like this.

I didn't check the other series, but with HGJ at least I think there's something up with the link, as it just takes me to the MediaFire upload page. :/

Thank you so much for capping, too! ^___^ (Also, for caps and DVDs...do you have VLC? Because it doesn't cap the subtitle, even if they're on.)

Ugh, irritating. I just tried to reupload it, and it did the same thing. For now, here's a yousendit version. MF's been doing really odd things ever since its supposed maintenance check the other day.

L/R's one of those kind of ridiculous series that's hard to get a hold of. I watched the dub because that was all I could find, and it really wasn't bad. I don't know what I was expecting, but I came away with a feeling of satisfaction. It's short, anyway--13 episodes, if I remember right--and the whole series is supposedly a Beatles nod, which I find awesome in and of itself.

wow! I have been looking all over for these Ronin caps and thank you! I also sniped wolf's rain even though I probably have a ton already I can never never get enough for my own good.

Hi...random anon suggestion: PowerDVD (Cyberlink) will help a lot with the fragmented backgrounds, and you can turn the subtitles off completely. And customize your capture-size. And choose from several versions of color enhancement. And pause and advance frame-by-frame. And a few other things I'm forgetting at the moment.

Mind you, it saves as .bmp, gigantic files- about 1.10 mb for a 720X536 shot and twice that for a 1024X768. So you'll need a lot of room.
